This article examines pronunciation teaching methods to improve the Chinese language skills of Japanese students at the primary stage.It also highlights the factors to be considered when teaching Japanese students from an intercultural communication perspective.First,“word pronunciation”and“small-talk practice”are effective in improving the speaking skills of students.Furthermore,“shadowing”is extremely effective in improving oral Chinese in a short time.This article also expounds the need for foreign teachers to pay more attention to Japanese students both during and after class.
